Dr. Major (Retd) Mohammad Aslam, consultant anesthesiologist, was admitted in Combined Military Hospital Lahore, due to heart disease and sepsis. In the early hours of 15th June, 2022, he left this temporary world to meet his Creator.
Mohammad Aslam was born on August 11, 1954 in the house of Chaudhry Noor Mohammad Noor Kapoor Thalvi in the village Chak No. 87 GB (Baba Di Beri) in Dajkot, a village on the outskirts of Faisalabad. With the posting of his father he got the opportunity to study in different cities of Pakistan, particularly at Multan. He qualified his intermediate examination with honors from Faisalabad, and got admission to Quaid-e-Azam Medical College, Bahawalpur for medical education.
He joined the Pakistan Army as a Captain, was promoted to the rank of major and retired in 2004 after serving for 26 years in Pakistan Army. He was a devout man, a compassionate and humble Messiah. While in the Pakistan Army, he spent his entire life in the treatment of those guarding the borders of the beloved homeland.
During his service he earned fellowship in Anesthesiology (FCPS). After retirement from army, he started his career at Lahore Medical & Dental College / Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital, Lahore, and proved his professional expertise here too. As an astute, hardworking, compassionate, God-fearing and contented doctor, he captivated the hearts of people everywhere. He devoted his entire life to the service of humanity and healing of the people. May Allah Almighty grant him a high and lofty position in the Paradise. Ameen!
