Prof. Syed Tipu Sultan is currently serving as Chancellor, Malir University of Sciences & Technology (MUST), Malir, Karachi as well as Head, Dept. of Anesthesiology, Sindh Institute of Reproductive Medicine (SIRM), Karachi. He has served as Head, Dept. of Anesthesiology as well as medical superintendent at Civil Hospital Karachi, and also had the honor to serve as principal of Dow Medical College and Bahria University Medical & Dental College, Karachi, as well as dean of the Faculty of Anesthesiology, CPSP. He remained President PMA (Centre & Karachi)

After finishing MBBS, Dr Sultan completed his house job and then left for England, securing a training position at Charing Cross Hospital London. In 1976, he passed his FFARCS examination and returned back to be appointed as assistant professor at Civil Hospital and Dow Medical College. He played a key role in establishing SICU at Civil Hospital. He also served at Sindh Institute for Urology and Transplantation. He is Patron of PSA.

Professor Bajwa received fellowship in emergency medicine and qualified MBA in human resource management with distinction. He has been awarded four national awards including the ‘Best Young Anesthesiologist of India” for 2012. He retired as HoD, Anesthesiology & Director Critical Care, Gian Sagar Medical College & Hospital, Banur, Patiala, (India).
He is GC Member, Indian Society of Anesthesiologists. He has been the chief editor of Northern Journal of ISA, and associate editor of Indian Journal of Anaesthesia and Journal of Anaesthesiology Clinical Pharmacology. Arzu Irban, MD, DESA (Turkey)

Dr, Arzu İRBAN, is Pain Specialist as well as Pofessor of Anesthesiology & Reanimation at Medipol Mega University Hospital. She qualified MD from Istanbul University School of Medicine, Cerrahpasa Medical Faculty further training from Marmara University, Department of Anesthesiology and Reanimation. She qualified various specialised courses in anesthesia and pain management from USA, Germany, Ukraine and Holland.

She is a member of Scientific Committee of Complementary and Alternative Medicine, and Head of Ozone therapy Commission, as well as Mesotherapy Committee. Dr. Arzu is a member of Turkish Medical Chamber, and national as well as a number of international societies. She was awarded Purskhe Neuroanesthesiology Prize by Turkish-German Anesthesiology Association in 2009, and Best prize award in 2013 by Regional Anesthesia Society in 2013. She has been an author of dozens of research papers published in national as well as international journals.

Her special interest is in ozone therapy and pain management.

Editor-in-Chief and creator of “Pediatric Anesthesia and Critical Care Journal”, international journal of pediatric and neonatal anesthesia (www.paccjournal.com) and President of SIAATIP (Società Italiana di Anestesia, Analgesia e Terapia Intensiva Pediatrica, www.siaatip.it), the first in Italy and second in Europe as importance and structural organization.

He is an author of more than 500 national and international publications, and has special interest in research in pediatric ultrasound anesthesia, neonatal regional anesthesia, non-invasive hemodynamic monitoring, preoperative pediatric evaluation and off label drugs. He is a member of editorial boards and a reviewer for a lot many medical journals. He invented a new innovative technique in simultaneous noninvasive hemodynamic monitoring and ventilation through proseal laringeal mask airway and transesophageal doppler called TED-PLMA Technique.

Eugenio Martínez Hurtado (Spain)

Dr. Eugenio is consultant anesthetist in the Hospital Universitario Infanta Leonor (HUIL), Madrid, He is responsible for the Anaesthesia, Critical Care Unit and Difficult Airway Management Unit.

He has acquired proficiency in the use of the healthcare information systems: Selene (Siemens), PICIS Critical Care Manager (Picis Inc.).

He is a member of the Spanish Critical Incident Group (SENSAR.org) and a University Expert in Integral Airway Management of the Spanish Anesthesia, Critical Care and Pain treatment Society as well as an expert in “Total Airway Control”. International Foundation for Airway Education and Research (FIDIVA). Dr Eugenio is a Fellow in Pediatric Anesthesia.

He earned many honors and awards in the fields of anesthesiology, critical care, airway management and other related disciplines, is a prolific writer and has played active part in the boards of many research journals.

Kenneth D. Candido, MD, (USA)

Dr. Kenneth D. Candido qualified MD from Universidad del Noreste, México. He then completed higher education and training in anesthesiology from New York Medical College and University of Illinois at Chicago. He is a Fellow in Pain and Regional Anesthesia. He held various appointments in American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP), and clinical teaching appointments in medical colleges.

He also held key appointments in many of the pain management programs at different American hospitals. Dr. Kenneth has been on editorial staff of many of the anesthesiology and pain journals and has actively participated in national and international Pain societies and ASA academic activities. He is a proud author of hundreds of published research papers, book chapters, books and a favourite presenter at conferences and symposia.

He is currently Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology, at University of Illinois College of Medicine Chicago.

Rudin Domi, MD, MSc, PhD (Albania)

Rudin Domi is Associate Professor at Department of Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, Emergency, & Toxicology, University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa”, Tirana, Albania. He qualified MSc (Anesthesiology and Pharmacology) in2005 and PhD in May 2010 from University of Tirana. He attended anesthesiology Courses and fellowships in Anesthesia and Renal Transplantation, Intensive Care, Enteral and Parenteral nutrition in ICU from universities of Salzburg, Austria and Italy. He played active role in national and European societies of anesthesiologists.

Dr. Rudin is author of many dozens of scientific research papers, which were published in international journals, or were presented at various forums. He has been a reviewer of many international journals.

Somchai Amornyotin (Thailand)

Somchai  Amornyotin, MD, FRCAT, is currently Associate Professor of anesthesiology at Department of Anesthesiology and Siriraj GI Endoscopy Center, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University, Bangkok. He qualified graduation in medicine in 1989, and completed residency in anesthesiology in 1996. He is certified by Thai Boards of Family Medicine and anesthesiology. He has held various academic positions in anesthesiology. He has special interest in anesthesia for gastrointestinal endoscopy, TIVA, TCI, ambulatory anesthesia, airway management, and acute postoperative pain management.

Dr Somchai has won various awards and decorations in the field of research and innovation. He has been a member of editorial and review boards of numerous scientific journals, and has been an author of many, book chapters and numerous research papers.

Senthil Gopala Krishna, MD (USA)

Senthil Gopala Krishna, MD, is currently an attending anesthesiologist in Pediatric Anesthesiology, Department of Anesthesiology, Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus, Ohio (USA)

He graduated from Coimbatore Medical College and Hospital, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India in 1997, qualified MD in 2000, and residency in anesthesiology at UAMS, Little Rock, AR. He qualified fellowship in pediatric anesthesia. He is a member of

American Society of Anesthesiologists. Society of Pediatric Anesthesia, American Association of Pediatrics and Ohio Society of Anesthesiologists. He is board certified in anesthesiology, pain medicine and pediatric anesthesiology.

He has a number of presentations and publications to his credit. The areas of his special research are pediatric intubation and airway.
